To all our customers,
We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe in these challenging circumstances. As we are spending more time at home, we realise how important our outdoor space is during this time.
From the PM’s announcement, we initially felt it was wise to stay home and since then have completely distanced ourselves and remained healthy. Due to the calls for our services to continue, we have addressed this decision again.
The advice in England regarding gardening is not completely clear but it does allow repairs and maintenance to continue. The guidance in Scotland also states “self-employed gardeners……. if you can practise safely, then this could be good for the community, we would encourage them to do so…..but safety and social distancing must come first.’
Dodson Landscapes decided to reinstate our services and have put new procedures in place to do everything we can to keep you safe, we are committed to social distancing (we have loved ones too). Rest assured we will only call on our regular maintenance customers when you are happy for us to do so. Please do not feel under any pressure as we completely understand if you would prefer us to keep our distance at this time.
If you agree to us visiting you, we have put measures in place
- Please do not come out to speak with us – if you do (only urgent, not for a chat), please keep a safe distance of at least 2 metres (we very much appreciate our cuppa’s but safety first!)
- We will be using gloves at all times
- We will use a disinfectant solution to wipe down any bins, gates etc both when we arrive and when we leave
With shop closures, this also includes garden centre’s so obtaining new plants is not easy. We have been able to source plants but with an order system and for collection only. Please bear with us if you do place an order as there will be a delay in planting these for you.
Please reach out to us if you have any concerns at all and we will do our best to help in whatever way we can. Stay safe
Kind Regards Kieran, Ian and the team
